Welcome, my name is Mark Anthony and I’m an honor roll student at Art Institute Atlanta-Decatur.  I’m currently enrolled in the Bachelor’s Program and my major is Interactive Media and Web Design.  As of today I am approximately 1 year in to my degree.

My interest in interactive media and web design comes from my previous career as a photographer and my experience in media marketing and promotions.  During my experience as a photographer and media marketing I would constantly come in contact with web designers.  Once joining my company, Khepera Media, with Cyclops Multimedia; I befriended Reggie, a web designer, who helped me to explore my interest in web design.

Once moving from Miami to Atlanta I decided to pursue my interest and began to search for colleges to help advance me within the web design industry.  After exploring our options my fiancé and I agreed that Art Institute is the best investment for us to make for the future.

Prior to graduation my goal is to possibly find internship to help me build my skill and comfort level in the web design industry.  Upon graduating, I would first take any extra courses, if need be, to enhance any subjects that I feel is my weakness.  The reason for this is to take my time and gain whatever knowledge base I need to move forward in a comfortable manner.  Next I would look for a job within the industry while also developing a DBA for freelance work.

My ultimate goal is to be able to build web standard sites, as well as enter a career that will benefit the growth and development of my family.
